Ranked by purity (arsenic & metals)

Bottled water

Consumer Reports recommends bottled water arsenic ≤3 ppb, stricter than the 10 ppb federal cap. For the best tier here, I require a current brand water-quality report plus exact product-image verification from the live brand page. PFAS is weighted when named analytes are public; micro/nanoplastics remain a class-level PET-bottle concern, not a reliable exact-SKU ranking signal yet.

Exact bottles with current brand-published reports and verified real product images: Mountain Valley 1L glass, evian 1L, and Acqua Panna 1L glass. FIJI 500mL is now a strong low-metals watchlist item, but it stays behind the podium until a named PFAS panel is public. Icelandic Glacial is the strongest watchlist candidate because it posts 2026 NSF source-water plus Eurofins PET/glass microplastics reports, but it still needs clearer finished-bottle metals and product-specific PFAS analyte reporting before replacing a podium pick. Essentia 2025 and Waiākea 2024 remain clean-metals watchlist items, not podium replacements, because public PFAS panels were not verified.

Do not buy

CR-flagged arsenic cautions stay on the board, but non-verified stock or mismatched images are removed instead of being left in place. Topo Chico, Volvic, EartH₂O, Tourmaline Spring, and Deer Park remain watchlist items for PFAS/arsenic context rather than higher-confidence top-3 caution rows.
